On Friday, March 3, Equiventure Farms, based in Topeka, Kansas, held their second Annual Hunter Jumper Presentation Sale at the HITS Show Grounds,  in Ocala,  Florida.  150 trainers, riders and owners attended the event which includes the presentation of over 20 horses ranging in ages from 7 - 15. 

 The HITS Ocala Winter Circuit offers exhibitors 10 consecutive weeks of shows with two additional weeks of USEF-Rated shows—the Ocala Holiday Series—in mid-December. The extensive range of classes, offering over $4 million in prize money, and abundant show opportunities makes HITS Post Time Farm in Ocala, Florida, a prime winter destination for US Hunter  and Jumper Professionals. The HITS Ocala Winter Circuit features USEF National and Premier-Rated Hunters, 5* and 6* Jumpers, two $50,000 USHJA International Hunter Derbies and qualifiers for the HITS Championship. In February, HITS Post Time Farm will also play host the 2017 FEI Nations Cup™ Jumping for the third consecutive year. The HITS Ocala Winter Circuit culminates each March with the Great American $1 Million Grand Prix.

The Equi Venture Presentation event started late Friday afternoon on the show grounds and attracted guests on foot, in golf cart, by vehicle and even some mounted on their horses!  Equiventure farms provided a full bar and a wonderful BBQ dinner for all of the spectators.  Host Presenter and Equi Venture Farm Partner Larry Ellerman provided ample detail on the confirmation and competition qualifications of each of the  horses presented. 

 Larry’s wife and daughter, Brandie and Hunter Holloway, are famous in the Jumper world with Brandie placing third in the famous Million Dollar Saugerties  Grand Prix last year and daughter Hunter the youngest American rider to jump 1.50 Grand Prix at the National level (age 11)  and youngest rider to represent the USA on a Young Riders Nations Cup team.Equi Venture Farms imports 20 horses per year into the USA from Europe into the USA for resale. 

 The Studbook was well represented with extensive coverage in the catalogue, signage on the grounds, Westphalian banners in the arena, a Westphalian Designated Jump at the entrance and a Westphalian Stand with brochures and catalogues.  There was interest and inquiries to North American Sales Director,  Mrs. Rhegan White.  Mrs. White gave a short presentation to the audience talking about the quality and success of the Westphalian Breeders,  Westphalian Studbook Auctions and the excellent buying opportunities the Westphalian  Studbook Sales team create for visiting clients.
